Questions and answers
Q1. Can the government clarify if a bid guarantee is required with the proposal response?
A1. It is not required.
Q2. For the expansion of the women's bathroom (disabled), the measurement of the wall adjacent to the office (2.30m) does not match the field measurement (1.50m). Will the field measurements be respected?
A2. The 1.50 measurement refers to the existing drywall portion of the wall, not to the total width of the 2.30-meter bathroom. These 2.30m dimensions must be respected as designed.
Q3. The measurement of the opening of door P-2 of the men's bathroom indicated in the opening table is 1.10m wide, but the measurement in the field is 1.00m. Will the current location and width of the door be respected?
A3. Please consider the below indication
Q4. In the men's bathroom, to the left side of the entrance door, the wall where the toilet rests measures 0.90 CM and the plans read 1.00m plus 0.15cm of the width of the Drywall partition.
Will the field measurements be respected?

Q5. Can you please clarify if offerors are required to complete all seven pages of Attachment 2 or only the first page of Attachment 2?
A5. Only the Summary page of attachment 2.
Q6. Attachment 1 – Statement of Work, Section 2.0 General Requirements, paragraph 2.2.1 states that normal operations will take place from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday.
However, this contradicts Exhibit 1 – Project Specifications, Section 011005, Construction
Execution and Coordination of Work, Section 1.4 Project Site Hours of Operations, which specifies, “Work hours shall be 7:00 am to 6:00 pm” (18:00). Can the government please clarify the working hours for this project?
A6. Per Statement of Work from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. Work hours to be reviewed weekly according to the progress of the project
Q7. Regarding drainage pipes, the general notes of plan P-01, state, “ALL VISIBLE DRAINAGE
PIPES AND FITTINGS MUST BE MADE OF GALVANIZED IRON.” However, the women’s accessible restroom will have pipes hanging and visible. In the basement, it was observed that PVC drainage pipes are already in place. Can the same approach be maintained by using heavy-duty
PVC for the hanging lines?
A7. YES. PVC is acceptable
Q8. If possible, please indicate the origin of the porcelain tiles planned for the project and specify the supplier with whom the designer worked.

Q9. • Applicable Codes: per site visit indication, project is intended to be executed with local procurement, and drawings indicate national (Perú) codes are to be complied with. However, solicitation document STATEMENT OF WORK, PG 47 indicate compliance to International
Codes, and note reads: “Work not in compliance with the IBC and NEC shall be deemed not in compliance with the Contract.”. Please confirm which codes are to be complied with.
A9. Please refer Statement of Work item 1.4. Any IBC and NEC compliance is specified.
Q10. During site visit indication was made that light bollards for the pathway outside would be provide by the Government. Please confirm no provision is to be made under proposal budget for supply of these bollards.
A10. Light bollards are Government Furnish and Contractor Install (GFCI).
Q11. Please confirm bollards to be installed are per KIM Lighting B30LED.
A11. Bollards are GFCI. It may be KIM Lighting or similar
Q12. Please confirm if Government will also provide the ramp embedded light KIM LLF60 which is UL listed.
A12. No. Per design, fixtures are contractor provided
Q13. Cutsheet provided for the lighting fixtures indicated on the drawings show UL, CUL listings, and do not seem to be locally available. Please confirm locally available equivalent will be acceptable or if contractor needs to account for imported fixtures.

Q14. Please confirm if there is any restriction of using materials fabricated in China.

Q18. Drawings show ADA doors opening towards the outside of the restrooms. Please confirm if these doors are electrically operated.

Q19. Plumbing drawings indicate visible (exposed) drainage shall be of galvanized iron, suggestion is made to use SCH 40 PVC instead to facilitate installation. Please confirm if
Government will entertain this option.

Q20. Plumbing notes indicate PPR for hot water, suggestion is to use CPVC for hot water to facilitate installation. Please confirm if Government will entertain this option.
A20. Yes, CPVC is acceptable
Q21. Plumbing notes indicate PPR for cold water, suggestion is to use VC for cold water to facilitate installation. Please confirm if Government will entertain this option.

Q22. Please confirm on finishes that if color indicated is not available a similar product may be submitted.

Q23. Please confirm construction site will need to be enclosed during all the execution of the project.
A23. Contractor must propose site enclosure plan for exterior and interior works.
Q24. Please confirm, if necessary, additional penetration for drainage connections and/or plumbing can be carried out on site.

Q25. Please confirm contractor can account for a desk and chair to be located on the main patio next to the ramp construction site as discussed on the site visit.

Q26. Please confirm the contractor workers will be allowed use of the security staff restrooms.
A26. Portable bathrooms will be required and must be incorporated in the site enclosure plan.
Q27. Please confirm that Residence Facilities Gardener will carry out any landscaping necessary.
Contractor will only account for removing the landscaping necessary for the laydown and construction areas.
A27. Contractor is responsible for removing the needed landscaping for the construction.
Contractor is responsible for restoring to the original condition the grass area. Government is responsible for decorative plants.
Q28. Please confirm simultaneous work fronts are preferred by the Government and project is not necessary to be done sequentially.

Q29. Please confirm if parking of key personnel will be allowed on the Roca Garcia Street.
A29. Limit of two cars for key personnel
Q30. Please confirm access for workers and trucks for material delivery and concrete mixers if needed, will be by the Roca Garcia Street.

Q31. We would like to request for an extension of the due date on the proposal submission.

Q32. For the contractor personnel on site for the project, please confirm if we are to follow
G.5.3.: “The Contractor shall provide an English speaking supervisor on site at all times.” only, or is the contractor also to consider all requirements per specification section 011005 1.2 ON-
SITE STAFF REQUIREMENTS A, B and C, to include Project Manager, SSI, QCM, SSHO and administrative personnel. Please confirm.

Q33. For the toilets and other plumbing fixture indicated, we understand current lead time in
Perú is around 120 days. Please confirm there will be an option to present equivalent/similar models to meet the project designated time frame.

Q35. As part of Peruvian regulations, is it also necessary to obtain the CAR insurance POLICY?

Q37. Specify whether extended working hours (into the evening) or night shifts (7:00 pm to
6:00 am) are allowed.

Q39. Confirm whether we need to consider restricted hours and days in our work schedule due to the Client's regulations or procedures. If applicable, please provide a calendar with the indicated restrictions.

Q40. Please confirm that all furniture and furnishing at foyer, office and toilets (women and men ) would be clear by the client before construction day one.

Q42. Confirm if complementary items can be added to the submitted list based on the bidder's evaluation. This will allow for a more detailed proposal.

Q43. Confirm whether, in some cases, the unit of measurement for an item can be modified, as greater detail can sometimes be provided when the item is not listed as a global unit.

Q44. Confirm whether, in cases where non-commercial specifications are included in the provided items, these can be replaced with similar commercial products available locally.

Q45. Confirm whether it will be possible to schedule power, water, air conditioning, and/or data outages to take the existing systems and networks out of service for an extended period, if necessary. All existing services (water, sewer and power ) may be use by the contractor without cost.

Q46. Define which requirements will be requested for the entry of staff and workers.
A46. Staff and workers identification will be required in advance.
Q47. Confirm if the drywall ceiling of the office and the women’s restroom hall will remain, as this ceiling is part of the restroom expansion.
A47. The drywall ceiling in the restroom hall must be replaced. The existing office ceiling should be maintained and included the materials required for the modification of the closets.
Q48. Provide more details about the two closets in the office. The only reference available is plan AE-14, which does not show any internal compartments.
A48. Contractor must include in the proposal the change of door closets. It must be also considered interior shelves. Shop drawing will be required for approval.
Q49. Confirm the width of door P-09 as 0.865m. According to the technical standard A.120 of the RNE, access doors must have a minimum clear width of 1.00m, and the door frame must not invade the accessible route.
A49. The door complies with the ADA standard, where the minimum width is 32 inches or
813mm.
Q50 Further details are needed for doors P-08 and P-07 located in the women's restroom
(description of hinges, lock and handle).
A50. Yes, it refers to the floor that must be replaced in the hall space.
Q51. Confirm whether the finish of item 01.02.03.02 "Floor finish with marble slabs of 0.02m thickness" of 1m² applies to the perimeter of the hall room (red-hatched area).

Q52. Confirm whether the cabinet of the sinks will have the same finish as the partitions for the toilets (laminated MDP in Maple Gravel finish) as seen in the renders on the plan AE-27.

Q53. Indicate where the finishes described in the item 01.03.06.04 and 03.03.06.03 "PVC Wall
Panel" will be applied, as it appears in the budget items for both restrooms although is not mentioned in any plan.

Q54. Confirm whether a submittal for luminaires is no longer required since the especifications required are part of the documentation reached.

Q56. Confirm the exact location of the entrance door to the men’s restroom (P-02), as the actual field measurement of the wall was 0.90 m and not 1.15 m.

Q58. Indicate the type of flushometer to be used for the urinal, as well as the types of P-traps and Sewage accessories for the sinks. Such especifications ar not mentioned nor in the price structure or any plan.

Q60. Confirm whether the partitions for restrooms and urinals will be made of MDP (as shown in the plans) or metallic carpentry (as mentioned in the price structure).

Q61. For the construction joints in the floor slab, a gap of 30mm is indicated, apparently this is a fairly large width for the application of the Sikaflex sealant, please indicate the exact detail for this procedure.

Q62. The plan SE-11 shows a detail of the wall with construction joints that cannot be seen in the elevations or sections. Please indicate the location and finishing detail of them, which are
25mm wide.

Q63. Will the electrical panel to be relocated called TF-B1R be a new panel? or existing one will be used adding only circuit c-6?.

Q64. Please specify exactly the type of geogrid to be used in the free space between the facade of the house and the ramp.

Q65. Please provide more details of the bases for the garden lights

Q66 To place the aluminum rail for the LED lighting strip inside the basewall embedded in the base of the wall, it will be difficult to place because it is impossible to insert a drill into the 10 cm height to place the fixing screws. Please clarify if another procedure can be used, such as using glue.

Q67. Regarding the finish, what is the tile (terrazzo) thickness and the location of the expansion joint between the tiles to avoid fissures/cracking?
A67. The tile thickness and location of expansion joints are specified in the drawings.
