QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
SOLICITATION Nº 19PA1024Q0006
CELLPHONE COMMUNICATION SERVICES
On June 8, 2024, U.S. Embassy Asuncion published a solicitation notice for the procurement of Cellphone Communication Services for.
The questions and answers below are responsive to the inquiries received from potential bidders via email at AsuncionContracting@state.gov or during the pre-proposal conference for this solicitation that took place on June 20, 2024.
No Question Response
1 Regarding the retention that would be applied in the 5-year contract after reaching the amount of $250,000, does that only apply to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 ? We have a confusion since we verified that in addition to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 plans, a quote is also requested for the data-only service used in modem/Table where it is estimated to be 5 to 30 lines of 20GB each. Would such additional modem’s services be included in the amount of $250,000?
The Zadroga excise tax, as mentioned in Section 1 - The Schedule, applies to contracts with a total value of $250,000 and would apply to the total amount invoiced.
2 About the DBA insurance, we only received a response from one of the Insurers; they asked us to complete the attached document with the staff of employees involved, considering that our structure of employees is quite extensive and involves many areas for the operation of the services, we should declare the totality? Or we would only refer to the corporate portion of our company?
The offeror is responsible for determining what data the insurer needs to quote the correct coverage.
