About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ 19KU2026Q0007 regarding the procurement of drapery fabrics for fiscal year 2026. The document addresses 14 clarification questions from potential offerors regarding solicitation requirements and evaluation procedures.

The RFQ is limited to supply and delivery of fabric materials only; stitching, tailoring, fabrication, or installation services are not required. Offerors must submit product literature, catalogs, technical data sheets, and/or fabric samples sufficient to demonstrate compliance with RFQ requirements, though physical samples are not mandatory at quotation submission and may be requested during evaluation at the Government's discretion. Equivalent commercial products meeting or exceeding minimum specifications are acceptable, and offerors may propose products from different manufacturers for different fabric categories provided all specifications are met. Acceptable colors and patterns are identified in Section III of the RFQ, and offerors must identify specific colors and patterns proposed for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) as part of their quotation. Fire rating (NFPA 701) is not required for any fabric category (drapery, sheers, or blackout). The delivery schedule is fixed at 30 calendar days after receipt of the Purchase Order, and no alternative lead times will be considered. No specific roll length or roll weight is required; however, fabric rolls must be properly packaged, labeled, and protected during transportation and delivery in accordance with RFQ requirements. Submitted samples will be returned to offerors upon request after evaluation completion.
