Amendment 0002 was issued on September 4, 2026, with an effective date referenced in block 16c. The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions submitted by potential offerors regarding the Renovation of the American Diplomacy House project.

The Questions & Answers address three primary inquiries: (1) Supplier licensing requirements clarify that offerors must submit either a Construction Business Registration Certificate or Interior Architecture Construction Business Registration Certificate, though the technician performing electrical work must hold the relevant license; subcontracting with qualified licensed partners is permitted; (2) Lighting fixture removal scope is clarified to specifically include only the three Barrisol stretch ceiling lights and eight searchlights, with no additional fixtures included; and (3) On-site photographs of the current condition showing lighting, furniture, signage, frames, and gallery areas are provided, depicting various interior spaces including display cases, meeting areas, signage, and wall-mounted galleries within the diplomatic facility.

Questions & Answers

Renovation of the American Diplomacy House

Question No.1: Supplier License (Section J. Volume II, 3)

This project appears to involve three scopes of work: architectural, electrical, and telecommunications.

Please confirm whether licenses for all three disciplines are required, or if holding a license in one of these areas is sufficient?

Additionally, if licenses for all three areas are mandatory, please clarify whether offeror is permitted to partner with qualified subcontractors who possess the required licenses.

Answer: While it would be ideal to have all licenses included, submitting only a Construction

Business Registration Certificate or an Interior Architecture Construction Business Registration

Certificate is sufficient. However, the technician actually performing the electrical work must hold the relevant license.

Question No.2: The drawing notes state: “REMOVE EXISTING LIGHTING FIXTURES INCLUDING

STRETCH CEILING.” Could you please clarify whether this refers specifically to the 3 stretch ceiling lights (Barrisol lights) and 8 searchlights, or if any additional fixtures are included in this scope?

Answer: It refers specifically to the Barrisol lights and searchlights. There are no additional lighting fixtures included in this scope.

Question No.3: Could you please provide on-site photos showing the current condition of the lighting, furniture, signage, frames, and gallery areas?

Answer: Picture is attached in next page.
