About this file
This document is an Amendment (No. 0001) to Request for Quotation (RFQ) 19KS7025Q0045 for a Mailroom Office Reconfiguration project at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, Korea. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by extending the proposal submission deadline to July 23, 2025 at 5:00 PM Korean Standard Time and provides official responses to seven contractor questions covering technical requirements, such as design documentation, fire safety standards, and facility modifications.
Key technical clarifications include: acceptance of local Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) stamps, confirmation that furniture size details will be provided post-contract award, requirements for fire-rated overhead coiling shutters (certified by Korean Standard or UL), and specifications for fire alarm system reinstallation and life safety protection plans. The amendment indicates the project involves reconfiguring an existing mailroom space with specific technical and safety compliance requirements, targeting commercial and institutional building construction standards.
