About this file

This document is a Cancellation Notice for Solicitation No. 19GR1025Q0024, issued by the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece on April 14, 2025. The original solicitation, released on March 21, 2025, sought duty-free powered two-wheel motor vehicles (motorcycles) for the embassy, but has been cancelled due to changes in U.S. Government requirements. The embassy indicates that a new solicitation will be issued after completing necessary revisions, though no specific timeline is provided in the cancellation notice.

The cancelled solicitation was targeted at businesses with established operations, required licenses and permits, and a permanent address in Greece. The procurement was specifically for motorcycles to be used by the U.S. Embassy in Athens, with the solicitation being handled directly by the Department of State's Athens embassy. While the current solicitation is withdrawn, potential vendors should anticipate a future revised solicitation for the same or similar motorcycle procurement.
