U.S. Embassy Canberra General Services Office 21 Moonah Place, Yarralumla

ACT 2600

Solicitation Number: 19AS2022Q0001

Subject: Questions & Answers

Q.1. The Mobile Fleet and Expense Management Service System (Item 6 in the Table) list Estimated Quantities as 510. As this feature is to cover all active services, can we please confirm what the Estimated Quantity of mobile services is as the Table lists them as follows (570 in total):

a. Item 1 Regular Service within Australia – 410

b. Item 4 Executive Service – 60

c. Item 5 National Data only plan – 100

A.1. Please see amendment 0001.

Q.2. It is understood that the primary operational site is in Canberra but are we able to get locations of the main offices the US Embassy staff operate from throughout Australia in order to provide detailed coverage information in our response?

A.2. Please see amendment 0001.

Q.3. Noting that the attached PDF provided by the Embassy is the means of response, are we able to get a Word version of this to input our responses please?

A.3. We are unable to provide a word document of the solicitation.

Q.4. Can the Embassy please confirm the countries that are required to be covered in the IDD requirement for Executive Services stating “Unlimited calls and text to United States of America, Asia, Pacific region, and Europe”. Optus have a number of solutions and would like to know the specific countries rather than the broad regions (Asia, Pacific Region and Europe) in order to customise the offer for the benefit of the Embassy

A.4. The Embassy requires the Executive Services for our employees who travel overseas frequently. We have used the region/zone approach to maintain complete international roaming coverage for this service, as we do not a have set list of specifics countries.

Q.5. Whilst it is understood that the Embassy is only seeking a 12-month commitment, it is noted that there will be 2 x 1 year extension options. With that in mind, would the Embassy also be happy to also consider 24- and 36-month pricing proposals for comparison?

A.5. No, the solicitation is for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with two one-year options to renew. At the time of award, the USG only funds the order for the base period (the first 12 months). Options 1 and 2 will be funded if the option is exercised. Refer to clauses 52.217-8, 52.217-9 & 52.232-19.
