Questions and Answers for Detainee Clothing

Question 1) Will alternate lead times other than the 30 days be accepted? Section 4.0 of the Statement of Work states that we should indicate lead times, however page 1 of the RFQ states a 30 day delivery.

Answer 1) A 30-day delivery should be the goal every time, but there might be a few times that exceed that due to unforeseen circumstances.

Question 2) Will Twill fabric be acceptable instead of Poplin? This fabric is 65% Cotton/35% Polyester.

Answer 2) Only the poplin material will be accepted as it is lighter in weight for warm weather: the Government will also accept a 55/45 poplin blend.

Question 3) What is the required fabric weight of the Poplin?

Answer 3) Approximately 4.5oz-5oz.

Question 4) What are the pantones required for the Royal Blue and Lime Green?

Answer 4) Royal Blue – 300 c, Lime Green – 386 c

Question 5) If pictures are submitted of the uniforms that are requested, do they have to be the correct color or can they be an alternate color with a swatch of the intended color?

Answer 5) Pictures can be any color, but if the colors are different, a color swatch of the color needs to be provided. Color swatches shall be mailed to: Attention: Christopher D. Nahass, Florence Detention Center, 3250 N. Pinal Parkway Avenue, Florence, AZ 85132. The swatches must be received no later than three (3) business days after the due date of the quotes.
