About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for RFP #19-0105-P-RP issued by Lake County Schools (LCS) in Florida for Speech Language Therapy Services. The addendum addresses multiple vendor questions and clarifies details of the procurement, with the solicitation seeking multiple vendors to provide speech language therapy services for the school district. The contract is for 196 school days with 7 billable hours per day, and the pre-proposal conference was held on February 19, 2020. All bids were due prior to 2:00 pm on March 5, 2020, with the intent to create a vendor pool for as-needed speech language therapy services across the district.
The annual spend for these services has historically been approximately $914,481 in 2017 and $996,229 in 2018, with 22 contracted Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) utilized in the 2018-19 school year. The district will evaluate proposals using a point system, with cost representing 30 points of the total score. Vendors are expected to have providers available at the time of proposal submission, with ongoing recruitment anticipated. Specific requirements include full-time SLPs with caseloads ranging from 50-100 students, including both direct and indirect services. The district will not currently consider teletherapy, bilingual rates, or therapy assistants, and requires all applicable licenses to be provided with the proposal.
