About this file

This document is an Attachment E - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan for a procurement opportunity from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). The procurement is for VHF beacon collars within the jurisdictions of Marion County and the City of Salem, Oregon. The plan outlines the requirements for bidders to demonstrate their efforts to provide certified disadvantaged businesses, including minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses, with equal opportunity to participate as subcontractors. Bidders must indicate if they are a certified firm, provide a list of certified firms they have worked with in the past two years, and describe the steps they will take to solicit certified firms for subcontracting opportunities if awarded the contract. Bidders must also report the identity and value of each subcontract to the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity if awarded the contract.

The contract opportunity does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient information. The focus of the document is on the bidder's certified disadvantaged business outreach plan.
