Pre-solicitation Notice Titel: Small Rural Hospital Transition – Technical Assistance Solicitation Number: 16-250-SOL-00091 Synopsis:
The Health resources and Services Administration (HRSA) plans to solicit for provide Technical Assistance (TA) for the Small Rural Hospital Transition (SRHT) project. HRSA, Federal Office of Rural Health and Policy (FORHP), required TA services to prepare nine (9) small rural hospitals for transitioning to the new health care environments. Eligible hospitals must be located rural (non-metro) persistent poverty counties, rural census tract of a metro persistent poverty county as defined by FORHP and have 49 staffed beds or less as reported on the hospital's most recently filed Medicare Cost Report. Hospitals may be for-profit or not-for-profit.
In accordance with FAR 19.405, the Government is setting this requirement aside and seeking proposals from Small Businesses. It is anticipated that an award resulting from solicitation will have a period of performance for a base year of 12 months with four (4), 12 month option years. These services are defined under NAICS code 541990. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed Price type contract will result from this solicitation. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
The solicitation will be posted May 17, 2016. It will be available at this website as an attachment to this announcement (www.fbo.gov under HHS, Health Resources and Services Administration). It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the site amendments to the solicitation. The agency will consider proposals from all responsible small business.
