About this file

This document is a solicitation amendment for the operation of the Brunswick Job Corps Center in Georgia. The amendment provides answers to questions from offerors, replaces language under Factor 4 to exclude proposed pricing for certain CLINs, and confirms the response date is unchanged. The solicitation seeks a five-year contract for operation of the Brunswick Job Corps Center, including outreach and admissions services and career transition services. Pricing will not be proposed for construction, rehabilitation, equipment, or career technical skills training CLINs, which will be determined by the government. The Atlanta outreach and admissions period of performance will coincide with Brunswick until the new Atlanta Job Corps Center is operational.

N/A The FAR 52.217-8 “Option to Extend Services” calculation includes costs associated with phase-out. Please confirm the “Option to Extend Services” calculation should not include phase-out in its calculation for the 6 month period. FAR 52-217-8 should not include phase-out costs as there is a CLIN for the phase-out (CLIN 3009).

Section B.2 Please provide further explanation about the statement: “Atlanta OA will have its own period of performance to coincide with Brunswick’s period of performance until such time the Atlanta JCC comes online?” When is the Atlanta center expected to be operational? How will this impact the arrival goals for Brunswick? Yes, Atlanta OA will have a separate period of performance as stated under CLINs XX06 and offerors shall propose accordingly. At this time, the new Atlanta Job Corps Center does not have a date of completion. Once the new Atlanta Job Corps Center comes online, the OA goals associated with the Atlanta Job Corps Center in accordance with the NEAP plan will be removed from the Brunswick contract.
