The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310, with a small business size standard of $7,500,000.

Statement of Work

1.0 Background

The OSHA DTE is a vital part of OSHA’s mission to assure safety and health of America’s workers by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, outreach, and education; establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual improvement in workplace safety and health. OSHA and its state partners have approximately 2,100 inspectors, plus compliant discrimination investigators, engineers, physicians, educators, standard writers, and other technical and support personnel spread over more than 100 offices throughout the country. This staff establishes protective standards, enforces those standards, and reaches out to employers and employees through technical assistance, training and consultation programs.

OSHA’s DTE provides occupational safety and health training programs and educational services including classroom training nationwide and in U.S. territories. These programs incorporate some of the industrial equipment used to complete tasks and work by, to include but not limited to, employees, workers, and volunteers. OSHA provides instructional training on industrial equipment or equipment which has select features to demonstrate safety standards and safe operating procedures.

To provide current audience-targeted training, the industrial equipment utilized in certain OSHA courses must be operational and safe. To meet this need, OSHA requires the industrial equipment to be inspected, serviced/maintained, and/or repaired. The equipment is housed at 2020 South mailto:Albracht.Kyle.K@dol.gov

Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.

Pre-Bid Site Visit:

A pre-bid site visit will be held August 23, 2018 at 9:00 AM CT, at OSHA DTE, 2020 South Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Interested parties will sign in as a guest at the front gate upon arrival. Please contact Mr. Anthony Towey at (224) 805-8205 if there are any issues. This meeting is to allow the potential bidders to conduct an escorted walk-through to view the equipment and ask questions. Any questions asked at the pre-bid site visit will be documented and combined with questions asked via FedBid. All questions will be answered and will be posted to FedBid prior to the offer due date.
