About this file
This is Amendment 1 to Request for Quote (RFQ) No. 1605AE-26-Q-00005 for Caretaker and Security Services at the Atlanta Job Corps Center, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Job Corps Acquisition Services on June 10, 2026. The amendment is effective June 10, 2026, and is not extended.
The amendment schedules a mandatory site visit for June 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. EDT at the Atlanta Job Corps Center, 4850 Washington Road, South Fulton, GA 30349. It corrects Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) descriptions and extends the deadline for submitting written questions to 1:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, directed to Kabir Saka, Contract Specialist, at saka.kabir.a@dol.gov. The Period of Performance is August 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026. The requirement is structured as a Total Small Business Set-Aside with a 6-month base period (CLIN 0001: August 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027) and a 3-month option period (CLIN 1001: February 1, 2027, to April 30, 2027). The document includes 15 questions and responses addressing site visit availability, current contractor information (International Support Group LLC, Contract 1605AE-24-C-0006), staffing requirements (2 FTEs 24/7/365 for security), maintenance responsibilities, utility costs (estimated at $500/month), equipment provisions, and fence maintenance ($50/month allowance for repairs). Key clarifications confirm no incumbent staffing retention is required, no landscaping equipment is available on-site, government-furnished equipment will be provided for security patrols, and DOL will coordinate on stored equipment issues.
