About this file
This document contains Industry Questions and Answers for a deposition services solicitation involving the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). The current contract is held by Veritext (Contract #15JA0522D00000026) with an estimated 5-year total value of $540,619.45. The solicitation covers deposition services for two locations - Chicago (80% of work) and Rockford (20% of work) - with an average of approximately 15 depositions per month, typically lasting around 4 hours and producing 50-100 pages per deposition.
Key details include a 10-30 day notice period for depositions, mostly in-person proceedings, and a preference for court reporters with a Tier 4 "High-Risk Public Trust" security clearance. The contract will require a minimum of 2 court reporters and 1 videographer per location, with resumes needed only for reporters present at depositions. While not a strict requirement, the government would prefer all court reporters have the Tier 4 security clearance. The solicitation involves separate Contract Line Items (CLINs) for each location and includes provisions for transcript turnaround, exhibit copies, and potential travel expenses.
