Question 3. How will background checks be conducted and what is required from the court reporting firm besides the names of office staff members, resume for key personnel and court reporters with (3) personal references for the mentioned background check?

Answer 3. USAO-HI will do the background on the Grand Jury court reporters.

Required – Employee’s name, DOB, SSN, Resume, and references.

Question 4. is the bid due March 3rd or March 7th?

Answer 3. March 7th. The wording in the SAM.gov post has been corrected to match the SF1449. Thank you.

Question 4. for pricing we see six fields but read 11 pricing items, so we’re confused?

Answer 4. Yes, you are correct that there are more descriptions of grand jury services in the SOW than what is listed on the Pricing Schedule. In the SOW, we include all of the services that the Government may need, but the Pricing Schedule only includes what the USAO-HI wants to order during the period of performance. By

Grand Jury and/or Deposition Court Reporting Services, USAO-HI including all of the definitions in the Statement of Work, it is also easier for the Government and Contractor to correspond if any itemized lines need to be added later.

We recognize that in previous IDIQs, all the itemized lines were included even when the quantity was zero. We eliminated the zero quantity CLINs to reduce the overall length of the contract.

Question 5. Regarding the checklist, attachment 2 and where to get the FAR copies.

Answer 5. The Government can pull an entity’s FAR information/report directly from SAM.gov. Offerors do not need to submit a FAR report unless their data is not up to date in SAM.gov.
