About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFI 15BRRC27N00000002 issued by the Bureau of Prisons (BOP). The RFI seeks information regarding Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services and Home Confinement (HC) services to be located within specified South Dakota counties including Hughes, Lyman, Tripp, Buffalo, Brute, Jerauld, Aurora, Beadle, Sanborn, Davison, Kingsbury, Miner, Hanson, Brookings, Lake, McCook, Moody, and Minnehaha. Home Confinement services are authorized within 150 miles of the facility.

The document addresses a single clarifying question regarding the relationship between the projected bed capacity in this RFI and the BOP's existing RRC contract with Dismiss Charities in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Minnehaha County), which expires on January 31, 2028. The BOP's response clarifies that this procurement is intended to replace the existing contract upon its expiration, rather than serve as an addition to or expansion of the current contracted bed capacity.
