STATEMENT OF WORK - Mobile Ultrasound and Echocardiogram Service

Subject

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity for the provision of on-site mobile imaging services for the incarcerated Adult in Custody (AIC) population at the Federal Medical

Center (FMC), Lexington, Kentucky. FMC Lexington is comprised of the FMC (all male facility) and the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) (all female facility). Both facilities are in close proximity to each other. The services required are mobile Ultrasounds, Doppler

Ultrasounds, and Echocardiography services.

Place of Performance

FMC Lexington

3301 Leestown Road

Lexington, KY 40511

Mobile services will be provided on-site at FMC Lexington, 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, Kentucky, 40511. The majority of ultrasound and echocardiogram services will be performed within the FMC; however, service may be required within the FPC as well. The exact on-site location of services will be determined once a contract is awarded.

Schedule

For Mobile Imaging Services, the contractor will normally provide onsite services at a minimum of once a week and more frequently as the need is determined by the Health

Services Administrator. Urgent consults must be completed within a 24-hour timeframe after notification even if a full clinic is not scheduled at that time. Services will be scheduled between the hours of 07:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The Government will set the scheduled hours and dates in accordance with institutional needs. The contractor will sign the consultant log, indicating the date, time of arrival, and time of departure.
