1. Can you confirm there is no concrete/asphalt as a part of the dig between the bulk Oxygen and the building? There is no digging required.
• Can you provide a utility drawing or underground for existing utilities that might be aƯected as part the dig for the new 2” Oxygen line? The 2” line is already installed.
• Can you confirm if we are “retrofitting” or “installing new” master alarm panels in the basement and 4th floor? New would require ICRA and T/B/P.
New Master Alarm Panel is to be installed. The main panel will be on the fourth floor.
• Are there other signals other than the Oxygen functions that are being ran to the master alarms? IE: Medical Air, Medical Vacuum, Nitrous Oxide, etc. No
• Per NFPA 99 2024 5.1.3.5.12.2 (8): “Four alarm connection points installed to both master alarm panels to allow the temporary supply to be monitored while in use.” This is not on the SOW, can you confirm this should be included to ensure the system meets NFPA? Yes, this should be included.
• Is the 2” Oxygen riser in a chase or closet? Is it accessible or will we have to set
ICRA barriers to open drywall for access? It’s in a chase.
• Can you provide ICRA plans?
This is not a construction project; it is simply installing a master alarm system. Taking the existing monitor out and installing a new one.
• Will we be required to provide backfeeds or will extended outages be scheduled?
