C. SCOPE OF WORK
C.1 Supply two (2) new 20-ton Condensers. Condenser shall be air split systems, 240,000 BTUH, Three phase, 460 v/60
hz. Air flow shall be 12000 cfm. Min circuit amperage 48A. Transformer shall be supplied with 75 VA step-down type, from Line to 24 volts with resettable circuit breaker.
C.2 Condenser Coils shall be constructed with copper or aluminum tubes and aluminum fins mechanically bonded to the tubes for maximum heat transfer capabilities. All coil assemblies shall be leak tested up to 550 PSIG (3792 kPa) internal pressure.
C.3 The condenser external cabinet shall be composed of heavy gauge case or galvanized steel with a durable powder paint finish. The scroll compressor shall be hermetically sealed with internal overload protection and durable insulation on motors windings. Drain pan shall be galvanized steel and designed to trap condensate in either vertical or horizontal installations. For service access, there should be removable panels for access to motors, blowers, sheaves, and filters.
C.4 Condenser fan motors shall be equipped with molded plugs for easy removal. System shall have design for louver panels and end access panels for removal for coil cleaning as needed.
C.5 System will have high pressure control & auto reset low pressure control and will provide compressor protection under abnormally high head pressure conditions such as outdoor fan failure, restriction, dirty coil, etc. or abnormally low suction pressure conditions such as restrictions, TEV failure, loss of charge, indoor blower failure, etc. while eliminating nuisance tripping sometimes experienced with conventional control systems.
C.6 The standard filter drier shall be provided/supplied to help ensure refrigerant cleanliness. Installation will be completed by in-house FBOP HVAC Staff.
C.7 Refrigerant for condensers and air handlers: 410A. New units shall be shipped with full refrigerant charge.
C.8 Supply two (2) commercial 20-ton Air Handlers to match new condensers. 460v/60 hz, 3 phase.
C.9 Condenser to be shipped complete from the factory ready for field installation and use.
C.10 One year worth of filters for the new systems shall be supplied.
C.11 Factory Start-up shall be provided after installation. All units shall be run tested at the factory prior to shipment.
