About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Federal Bureau of Prisons for FCC Beaumont in Beaumont, Texas. The amendment updates solicitation 15B50226Q00000045, effective May 4, 2026, and modifies the description of line item 0001 to clarify that dual fuel units may be considered in addition to gasoline powered units.

The Government seeks to procure one gasoline-powered forklift with a 5,000-pound lifting capacity, 2-stage mast with maximum fork height of 131.5 inches, Class 2 forks (48 inches long), 40-inch cascade sideshifter, automatic transmission, and various safety features including Toyota's System of Active Stability (SAS), automatic fork leveling, operator presence detection, LED lighting, and a mounted fire extinguisher. The unit must include a weatherized electrical system suitable for outdoor use in rainy conditions. Warranty requirements include 12 months/2,000 hours basic coverage and 36 months/6,000 hours powertrain coverage. Delivery is required on or before September 4, 2026, to FCC Beaumont, 5980 Knauth Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705. The solicitation uses a Lowest Price (Technically Acceptable) and Past Performance evaluation approach. Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the deadline specified in the solicitation or as amended. The contract employs commercial products and services terms under FAR 52.212-4, with various FAR and DOJ clauses incorporated, including provisions regarding whistleblower rights, small business utilization, labor standards, and trafficking in persons compliance.
