About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Request for Quotation 15B41226Q00000006 addressing an above ground tank installation project at FMC Rochester. The document does not address specific pricing terms, response dates, award dates, or contract vehicles, as it serves solely to clarify technical and procedural aspects of the solicitation.

The Q&A clarifies key project parameters including the existing underground storage tank capacities (4,000 gallons for gasoline and 2,000 gallons for diesel) and the quantities to be removed during the project (less than 1,000 gallons of gasoline to be transferred to temporary storage and approximately 1,200 gallons of diesel to be pumped out and disposed of). Regarding project scope, the BOP confirmed there are no project drawings available, but specifications are contained within the solicitation document with a site map to be added. The response indicates that concrete, bollards, and electrical work are addressed in the specifications on pages 3 and 4 respectively, clarifying that these elements are the responsibility of the bidding contractor rather than a separate cement contractor.
