Questions for Contract Opportunity- FCI Aliceville Natural Gas Dishwashers
1. Can our installer make a site visit to determine the length and how connection would need to be made for the ductwork?
A site visit can be arranged if necessary. The existing vent in the ceiling will remain and is to be used again as no new penetrations are to be made to the ceiling unless absolutely necessary.
2. What are you going to use for loading and unloading the racks for the two dish machines?
Inmate labor is used for most of the loading and unloading of the dish racks.
3. Are you planning to provide these tables?
If the vendor would like to include an option for any tabling that is acceptable, but definitely not part of a requirement we are looking for at this time.
4. Looking at the diagrams provide there appears to be room between the two machines for some tabling and at each end of the machines for tabling. I am not able to determine the distance between the two dish machines on your diagram. Can you verify this dimension?
I can verify the dimension between the two proposed machines.
5. Could you please tell us the serial number of the machine being replaced so we can get specs off of it to match what you will be needing on the new machines?
27-1188-677
6. Could we please have the dimensions of the machine being replaced so we know what size limitations we have.
Approximately 50" Wide x 25' Long. The 50" is at the widest part where one section is wider than the rest of the frame. The finished ceiling is approximately 75" from the dish machine at the center where the exhaust duct is located.
7. Do you have any models in mind that you would like quoted on this?
No.
