Question and Answer Sheet for 15B20725Q00000006
Q1) I have a question concerning the requisition for new water heaters for FCI Lewisburg. The diagram posted does not have units to communicate the size for each water heater. We can't tell if it is cm, inches, or feet. Is there more information available to help us understand the size requirements for these water heaters?
A1) The specifications for the diagram are that all units are in inches. An amended diagram with the units included is present below.
Q2) We hope this email finds you well. Please provide the brand name(s), water heater sizes/capacities, model number(s) and serial number(s) of the existing water heaters at the facility. Also, if possible, please provide photographs of the existing units. Please reply at your earliest convenience.
A2) Upon review, it appears only the make and model number are reasonable to provide for the water heaters. The make of the incumbent water heaters are Aerco and the model number is M#B+07EC.
Q3)
· Our skid will include a digital mixing valve can you provide a master mixing valve spec?
· What will the skid be used to heat: sinks, showers, kitchens, laundry etc.
· Can you provide the mixing valve with the required continuous recirculation?
· Our package will not include the high temperature safety solenoid purge valve and the steam pressure gauge will this be an issue?
A3) Upon review we have determined that it is not reasonable to provide information regarding the master mixing valve specifications. We will not be providing any components for the water heater as it is to be expected that all necessary parts to be included for installation. It is also to be emphasized that specifications listed such as the solenoid purge value are requirements for the solicitation, as was also listed on the combined synopsis. All required specifications must be included without exception.
