1. Your below request asks for pricing for 42 Doors only, but when looking at the schedule appears to be calling for some F1 frames as well? Do we discard the frame portion or are you needing this as well?
We are looking for the replacement of 42 units in total. This includes 31 single doors and 11 double doors (53 individual doors). In addition to the doors, the frames at the FCI are in need of replacement. We would like a price to replace 17 single door frames and 10 double door frames at the FCI.
2. Now as per below, is the intent to re-use the existing hardware or is the intent for the facility to order new hardware? What I am looking for in particular is the type of hardware that we need to prep the doors & frames for? (Big Bit Folger Adams Lock, does not define the lock type) Based on the frame elevation appears to be the 50 Series Electro-mechanical lock, but that lock usually requires a 12” column, these frames are to be 16” wide, so is the intent to add Intercoms, etc…??? What about the Double doors What type of lock is planned for these?? I assume a 80 Series, and a Head & Foot bolt on the inactive door? Or perhaps the intent is to go with the Cremone Bolt type locks? These preps does require a fair amount of internal work?
The intent is to use the existing 80 Series Big Bit Folger Adam Locks which will be replaced in-house. The double doors have the frame in the middle with individual 80 series locks.
3. According to the given data the total number of doors including double doors appears to be 52.
