4. The compressor and condenser equipment should be sized to operate at an average temperature differential between the ambient and condensing temperatures of 20 degrees.

5. All unit’s refrigerant type shall be that of R404A and oil compatible supplied by the manufacturer for the same.

6. All the compressor units shall include discharge and suction line vibration protection, liquid line filter drier, moisture indicating sight glass, dual pressure control and crankcase heater.

Service ports shall be on suction and discharge line of compressor.

7. All systems shall also include a receiving tank capable of receiving all system type refrigerant without exceeding 90% of its capacity. Each receiver will be supplied with a pressure relief vent at its outlet and an isolation valve at its service port.

8. All condensing unit internal piping shall be neat, orderly and accessible for future maintenance. Each units piping run shall be refrigerant grade ACR or type L piping.

9. The framing of the outdoor condensing unit shall include a welded, deburred and clean structural base frame made of a minimum 12 gauge steel. All housing and access doors shall be of a minimum of 16 gauge galvanized steel and must be painted with an epoxy based primer coat and a minimum of a second finish coat of polyurethane acrylic enamel based paint

10. The evaporator units with cooling fans and the associated parts provided by the supplier shall include a matching TXV, liquid line solenoid valve and thermostat. The fan motors should be 115 volt, 60 hertz.

11. The multi condensing unit electrical control panel shall be either interior or exterior mounted and must be weatherproof. The electrical control panel shall be manufactured of a minimum 16 gauge galvanized steel which has to be assembled, welded, deburred and cleaned. If exterior mounted, it must be painted with an epoxy based primer coat and a minimum of a second finish coat of polyurethane acrylic enamel based paint. The control panel shall be protected by an exterior mounted NEMA 3R rated fusible disconnect switch.

The electrical control panel will include a removable cover, circuit breakers and contactors for each compressor, circuit breakers, start capacitors and fan cycle control thermostats for each of condenser fan motors. The electrical control panel will also include a mounted wiring diagram of the refrigeration system and its electrical wiring. A separate copy of the wiring diagram of the refrigeration system will also be provided.

12. The footprint of the equipment and its associated length can be no longer than 6’ 4”. The width can be no wider than 3’ 4”. The height can be no taller than 4’. Access doors must be located on one of the long sides of the unit. The connection points of the refrigerant piping from the multi condensing unit shall be on the short side to the left of the access doors and can be no higher than 16” from the bottom of the unit. The electrical disconnect shall be mounted near the top and on the same side as the refrigerant line connections.
