About this file
This document outlines requirements for a federal solicitation seeking kosher food products. The Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton intends to issue a solicitation for kosher food deliveries to the facility located in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, setting aside the opportunity for small businesses. Deliveries must be made by April 19, 2024 to the food service warehouse and comply with temperature specifications for perishable, frozen, and canned goods. The contract type is firm-fixed price, and the government will consider past performance and price in awarding to the responsible offeror most advantageous to the government. Interested parties should monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for the solicitation release on or around February 16, 2024, with quotes due by March 5, 2024. Payment will be made via EFT or purchase card. The anticipated award date is March 29, 2024.
