Dear Vendor:
You are invited to review 15B11325Q00000009 for Certified Kosher Food and Dry and Frozen goods required by the Federal Correctional Institution, Morgantown, West Virginia, for the 4TH quarter of Fiscal Year 2025.
In submitting quotes, quoters should consider all information provided herein. Please carefully follow all the instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format, and submission of quotes. New FAR clause 52.211-17 please review.
All potential quoters are advised that the solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items, which at paragraph (t) requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the new “SAM” database. ALL QUOTERS NEED TO CERTIFY UNDER THE NEW NAICS CODE “311999”. Quoters should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the “SAM” database prior to award by using the DUNS number. Failure to register in SAM, or the SAM account is “Inactive”, or if you are “Excluded”, your bid will not be considered.
Quotes shall be received on or before JUNE 4, 2025, at 4:00 P.M., Eastern time. Quotes MUST be submitted via e-mail ONLY to bkeifer@bop.gov Quotes faxed, mailed through USPS, FEDEX, or any other physical type of mail WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Only electronic forms by e-mail will be accepted.
Recent delivery problems have occurred for some companies that have impacted on past performance. As such, awards have not been made to those companies based on past performance. The FCI will continue such procedures, as inability to deliver products impacts menu planning and preparation of meals, as well as increasing prices for additional procurement.
It is imperative that delivery is completed within the time frame. Items not delivered within the required time frame will be canceled and any/all shipping and restocking fees will be the responsibility of the vendor.
