STATEMENT OF WORK
A.1.1 Subject
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Morgantown, West Virginia, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity for the provision of egg products to FCI Morgantown, located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The purpose of this contractual agreement is to acquire the necessary supplies/services from a company who can provide weekly egg products deliveries. The Government reserves the right to award without discussion. Therefore, initial quote should contain the quoter’s best terms from a cost or price standpoint. The contract period will be from OCTOBER 1, 2024 to DECEMBER 31, 2024.
A.1.2 Place of Performance
Supplies and equipment will be delivered to:
Federal Correctional Institution 446 Greenbag Road Morgantown, WV 26501
A.1.3 Product Requirements
The Contractor shall provide:
(1) Kosher Skim Milk, ½ pint, each. Milk, Nonfat/skim/fat free, ½ pint containers, CID A-A20338, Group I, Type D, Certified Kosher, must have Kosher Certification letter from Dairy: 54,000 EA DELIVERY WILL BE WEEKLY
(2) Cottage Cheese, pounds, 5-pound container. Cottage Cheese, Cultured or acidified, Normal or Extended Shelf Life, low fat (2%), fat free, or no salt added low fat types, unflavored, small or large curd. (CID A-A-20154B, group I or group II, subgroup A or B, types 2, 4, or 5, class (a), style(i), or (ii): 60 CT DELIVERY WILL BE AS NEEDED.
(3) Sour Cream, pounds, 5-pound container. Dairy, Cream, Pasteurized, Sour Cream, Reduced Fat Sour Cream, Low-fat Sour Cream, or Nonfat Sour Cream, No Flavor. (CID A-A20251, Group I, Type F, H, I, or J, No Flavor). Note type and package size on bid: 12 CT DELIVERY WILL BE AS NEEDED.
The dairy products must have an acceptable expiration date of ten days after date of delivery. The government would notify the vendor of any unacceptable expiration dates, product shortages, and substandard product quality. The vendor would be obligated to respond and replace such product within 24-hours.
Any resulting contract shall be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract. As such, quantities listed are estimates only and are not a representation to a contractor that the estimated quantities will be required or ordered or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal.
A.1.4 Equipment
A.1.5 Delivery Order Information
The products will be delivered once per week, preferably on Tuesday, as needed, in varieties and amounts to be determined by the Food Service Administrator or designee. The orders will be called in the prior week or at the specified time determined by the Food Service Administrator and the contractor as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
A.1.6 Institution Security
The contractor shall adhere to all regulations prescribed by the institution and the Federal Bureau of Prisons for the safety, custody, and conduct of inmates.
