All potential quoters are advised that the solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items, which at paragraph (t) requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in SAM.GOV. Quoters should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in SAM.GOV prior to award by entering the potential awardee’s DUNS number into SAM.GOV. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for award.

Quotes faxed, mailed through USPS, FEDEX, or any other physical type of mail WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Only electronic form by e-mail will be accepted.
Recent delivery problems have occurred for some companies that has affected past performance. As such, awards have not been made to those companies based on past performance. The FCI will continue such procedures, as inability to deliver products impacts menu planning and preparation of meals, as well as increasing prices for additional procurement.
If you have any questions, contact me at (304) 284-4318 or bkiefer@bop.gov.
Sincerely, Ben Keifer, Property and Procurement Specialist image1.png
