STATEMENT OF WORK FOR LANDFILL SERVICE CONTRACT

BACKGROUND: The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices for landfill disposal services which meets the requirements outlined in this statement of work for the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner (FCC Butner) located in Butner. NC.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Services will be performed at the contractor's disposal facility which must be approved by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources and operated in accordance with all Federal , State, and Local codes and laws as well as meet EPA Requirements and standards.

The disposal facility shall be located within a 35 mile (one-way) radius of the institution which is located on Old NC Hwy 75. Butner. NC 27509.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: FCC Butner will transport garbage and construction debris to the contractor's disposal facility. Upon delivery the contractor shall be responsible for and become sole owner of all trash, garbage, and debris from the Government owned containers once the unloading at the disposal site is complete.

The contractor will be fully responsible for the disposal of the materials in a lawful and proper manner. The Government estimates they will deliver 275 tons per month of the above materials; however there is no guarantee regarding the estimated tonnage, as quantities will vary on a per delivery, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. The Contractor will be required to provide the Government with documentation of the tonnage for each delivery.

SCHEDULE OF PERFORMANCE: The Government estimates deliveries to the contractor 's disposal facility will occur on a daily basis. Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time excluding Federal holidays.

INMATE MANAGEMET: The Contractor will not be responsible of the management of inmates.

CONTRACT PRICING/SCHEDULE OF ITEMS: Services are required to be provided by the contractor in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The quote is required to include a completed copy of the Schedule of Items inclusive of the base year and all option periods with their quote. The contract rate for these services shall be on a per ton basis. The contract rate shall include all associated charges and fees on a per ton basis.

Any resulting contract shall be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract. As such, quantities listed are estimates only and are not a representation to a quoter or contractor that the estimated quantities will be required or ordered or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal. Estimated maximum quantities have been provided.

ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

Base year ‐ Effective Date of Award through 12 months from Effective Date of Award Option 1 ‐ 13 months through 24 months from Effective Date of Award Option 2 ‐ 25 months through 36 months from Effective Date of Award Option 3 ‐ 37 months through 48 months from Effective Date of Award Option 4 ‐ 49 months through 60 months from Effective Date of Award
