About this file

This is an AFMC Form 158 Packaging Requirements document for Purchase Instrument Number FD20602600190-00, Version 1, signed by Packaging Specialist Mario R. Carter on December 17, 2025. The document specifies packaging and marking requirements for eight line items across multiple packaging requirement codes (PACRN), with compliance mandated under MIL-STD-129 Revision R and MIL-STD-2073-1 Revision E.

The document establishes comprehensive packaging standards for all items, with particular emphasis on wood packaging material (WPM) compliance for international shipments. All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked, heat-treated wood (56°C/133°F for 30 minutes minimum) with certification from an agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee, in accordance with International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM No. 15). Seven of the eight line items require packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1 and marking per MIL-STD-129, including unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer names, and model numbers as specified on AFMC Form 158. One item (PACRN AAB, item 5998016339650KV) specifies MIL Long Line Packaging with detailed unit pack specifications (weight 5.00 lbs, length 18.5 inches, width 12.5 inches, depth 3.0 inches, cube 0.401). Two items (PACRN AAE and AAF) require no packaging data. All serviceable shipping containers meeting Form 158 requirements must be reclaimed, stored, and protected for reuse, while unserviceable containers must be replaced by the contractor.
