About this file

This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a contract to provide Resident Solutions Engineer (RSE) support services to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Operations (EOPS) Server Support and Services Division.

The PWS outlines the requirements for non-personal services to provide site reliability engineering expertise utilizing HashiCorp Solutions. The contractor will provide a Resident Solutions Engineer(s) to collaborate with HashiCorp subject matter experts, execute implementation plans, provide technical guidance and assistance, and support the IRS's Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives. The contract has a base period of 4 months and the work will be primarily performed remotely. The desired outcome is to provide oversight and ensure HashiCorp Terraform configurations and IaC processes are managed and executed in compliance with established guidelines. Key performance objectives are defined, and a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan will be utilized to assess the contractor's performance.
