About this file

This is an event document related to a State Library of Iowa IMLS 5 Year Evaluation Consultant contract opportunity administered by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The document appears to serve as a notice or announcement for a bidders conference or pre-bid meeting regarding the removal of trees and brush from up to 9 acres of remnant prairie on the East Fork Wildlife Management Area—Behounek Tract, located in Humboldt County, Iowa (Section 8, T93N, R28W). The scope of work involves clearing vegetation from the specified acreage to restore or maintain prairie habitat conditions. Key procedural dates, site visit information, bidders conference details, submission deadlines, and contract award timeline would be detailed within this document to guide potential contractors through the bidding process.

The document would typically contain pricing instructions, evaluation criteria, and any special conditions or set-asides applicable to the contract. Information regarding the funding source, budget allocation, and contract term duration would establish the financial parameters for interested bidders. Any incumbent contractor information, current project status, or environmental considerations relevant to the prairie restoration work would be noted to provide bidders with necessary context for developing competitive proposals and understanding project requirements.
