About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file from a pre-solicitation notice for the Bureau of Reclamation's Architect-Engineer Multiple Award Contract (AE-MAC). The current AE Multiple Award IDIQ contract has a total value of $225,000,000, with five incumbent contractors: Stantec Consulting Services, RJH Consultants, HDR Schnabel, AECOM Technical Services, and CDM Federal Programs Corporation. The contract period runs from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2026.

The pre-solicitation notice, with response deadline of March 7th, seeks market research to determine the acquisition strategy and potential set-aside. Responses were to be sent to Megan Swift at mswift@usbr.gov. The solicitation release has been delayed due to new internal procedures, with no current approximate release date. The Bureau will accept subcontracting and joint venture arrangements, and will allow proposals from organizations that did not respond to the special notice. Potential vendors can propose on all disciplines or a subset, and will be notified when the solicitation is posted on SAM.gov.
