FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY:

Questions and Responses:

1. Question: For seal coating that is a chip seal I am assuming (please clarify).

Response: Please refer to the revised Performance Work Statement in this Amendment No. 0002. The sealant is needed on the road and parking lot.

2. Question: On the description it says to grade (which area are you talking about and is this existing road material not asphalt)?

Response: Please refer to Paragraph 1 of the revised Performance Work Statement in this Amendment No. 0002. There is no grading needed for this project. The existing road is asphalt.

3. Question: The bid document makes mention of concrete crack routing (grouting) and asphalt crack routing. Where are there concrete areas that need crack repair? I was not able to see where that might be on the project map. Also, were any determinations made about what route dimensions are expected, or should I plan to default to 3/4 x 3/4, as previously mentioned?

Response: Please refer to Paragraph 1 (Scope) of the revised Performance Work Statement in this Amendment No. 0002. There are no concrete areas that need to be worked. There are only asphalt cracks needing to be sealed and two (2) approximate 10’ x 10’ patch areas near the parking lot.

4. Question: For the sealcoating line item, is one or two coats expected?

Response: Please refer to Paragraph 1 (Scope) of the revised Performance Work Statement in this Amendment No. 0002. Two (2) coats are expected to comply with the WYDOT specifications.

5. Question: When sealing concrete cracks, a different material is typically used than the material used for asphalt cracks. Namely, Dowsill 888 is what's most commonly used for concrete, and PARKING LOT SEALANT TYPE 1 PART NO. 34202 is what I would procure for the project, absent any material specifications. How do we verify that the materials we intend to furnish suffice for the project?

Response: Please see the revised Performance Work Statement in this Amendment No.

0002. There will NOT be any concrete work performed on this project.

6. Question: I'm reaching out about this solicitation to make sure that you are asking for 500yd2 of asphalt repair; as I see on the displayed picture there are only two green spots.

Response: Please refer to the revised Performance Work Statement in this Amendment No. 0002. The 500 yd² of asphalt is NOT needed. Asphalt is needed for two (2) approximate 10’ x 10’ patch areas.
