Sources Sought Notice
This is a Sources Sought Notice in accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. There is no solicitation available at this time.
This notice is for planning purposes only, to assist in determining if this effort can be obtained competitively and/or as a total Small Business Set-Aside, and to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various interested business concerns. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement. The
Government is interested in all socioeconomic contracting programs (e.g., 8(a), Service-Disabled
Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, Women-Owned Small Business concerns, etc.). The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice with their capabilities and identify their small business status with respect to the identified NAICS code.
If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized and posted on the SAM.gov website. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor that site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
DESCRIPTION:
Bureau of Reclamation’s (BOR) Western Colorado Area Offices (WCAO) conducts monitoring of water and soil at its project sites in Colorado and New Mexico. The BOR will provide water and soil samples to a certified contractor for analysis from numerous reservoirs, rivers, creeks, canals, and water wells for routine and impromptu testing.
The contractor shall provide a final report of test results with each set of samples provided by the BOR and shall include a completed Chain of Custody (CoC) and Laboratory Supervisor(s) signature certifying the adequacy and accuracy of procedures and test results. Reports must be electronic and include, at a minimum, results of all analysis including the following information: results, non-detections, analytical methods used, date of sample collection, and date of sample analysis.

Respondents are requested to include the following information within their capability statement packages. Capability packages should not exceed two single-sided pages in length and should include:
a. Company Information: Company name, address, point of contact with email address and telephone number, Unique Entity ID (UEI), and business size.

b. Statement of Capabilities: Demonstrate the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities necessary to perform the work described above. Please limit your relevant past performance to the past three (3) years and include Contract Number(s) or
Customer/Company Name.
