7. Regarding the period from Memorial Day through to Labor Day, it has been noted that there is a requirement for an additional bathroom check to be conducted between 12pm and 2pm. Could you clarify if the cleaning staff will be permitted to commence additional tasks (such as parking lot cleaning, trash can checks, etc.) during this timeframe, or will these tasks be required to wait until after 6pm?

a. Cleaning staff would be permitted to complete additional tasks such as parking lot cleaning (although the parking lot is usually very full during this time) and trash can checks. Other items would need to be performed when the visitor center is closed and visitors are not present.

8. Furthermore, during this specific season, considering the potential need for staff to work split shifts to accommodate the additional bathroom checks, will there be provisions for staff to remain on-site until the next shift at 6pm?

a. There really isn’t anywhere that the employees could remain onsite other than the break room in the visitor center which is also used by the VC staff.
