SYNOPSIS:
The Bureau of Reclamation Elephant Butte Power Plant requires the voltage regulators on three (3) generator units be refurbished. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items. This will also be a brand name request as well as a 100% small business set aside. The BOR intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement.
SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for the formal solicitation number 140R4023Q0008 is anticipated for the end of March 2023. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor this announcement for updates and the release of the solicitation documents. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the System for Award Management (SAM) website, www.sam.gov. It is, and will continue to be, all potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the SAM website for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers.
BACKGROUND & SPECIFICATION OVERVIEW:
Reclamation requires that the voltage regulators on all (3) generator units be refurbished. The current voltage regulators are Basler ECS-2100. Reclamation is looking to replace the Basler ECS-2100 with the current Basler Regulator DECS-2100. This requirement will need the contractor to Retrofit the current Basler ECS-2100 voltage regulators with current Basler DECS-2100 voltage regulators. Vendor shall include all labor, parts, equipment to install, commission, and train personnel on the three generating units at Elephant Butte Field Division located in Truth or Consequences New Mexico.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335311 Power, Distribution and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of no more than 750 Employees. The product service (PSC) code is 5963.
SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT:
