About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 0001) to a federal solicitation for the Battle Creek - South Diversion Dam and Canal Removal project, issued by the Bureau of Reclamation's Mid-Pacific Region. The amendment extends the bid due date to July 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM PST and incorporates several key modifications: 1) adding a Site Visit Sign-In Sheet for June 10 and 11, 2025, 2) updating references to attachment numbers, 3) clarifying bid guarantee requirements (20% of bid price or $3,000,000 maximum), and 4) adjusting various proposal submission instructions.
The amendment includes detailed pre-bid site visit requirements, specifying that participants must use 4-wheel drive vehicles with high clearance, be prepared to hike up to 2 miles on rough terrain, and bring their own water. The site visit will cover the South Diversion Dam and Canal, with an aerial video available online. The solicitation involves removing dam and canal infrastructure, with potential small business subcontracting opportunities. Prospective bidders must submit electronic proposals via Kiteworks and adhere to specific technical, past performance, and small business participation evaluation criteria.
