Solicitation: 140R2020Q0006

Questions and Answers Dated April 24, 2020

Question 1 - Is there existing LiDAR/topographic data that will be available to the contractor for the project site?

Answer: There is no LiDAR. There is aerial photogrammetry and 1-foot contour interval topographic mapping from 2005 that will be available to the contractor once awarded.

Question 2 – Table 7-1 of the proposed scope of work includes State permits for Section 2081 of the California Endangered Species Act and Section 1600 of the California Fish and Game Code.

Please confirm that you are seeking assistance from the contractor to acquire State permits.

Answer: Yes, Reclamation seeking assistance from the contractor to acquire state permits.

Question 3: Please confirm that DCC gate operations under the proposed project would be the same as evaluated in the 2019 Biological Opinions.

Answer: The operation of the DC gates would be consistent with the 2019 BiOps. However, the DCC Gate operations resulting from this project will be refined by the Public comment period, and the required consideration of project alternatives as required by the Endangered Species Act and NEPA.

Question 4: Please confirm whether the future boat traffic and vessel size range would be the same as accommodated by the current facility.

Answer: There is the potential for a public comment for increased boat traffic. The Contractor would be working with Reclamation through the public comment period, which could influence the project design.

Question 5: Can Reclamation provide the previous studies and ongoing products referenced in the scope of work.

Answer: Reclamation would provide the documents to the awardee when requested.
