Amendment 006 extended the end date of period of performance to September 19, 2025, which will be for the Base portion of the contract.
Question 2: Can you verify we have the quantities correct for the stoplogs that need to be refurbished/replaced?
Stoplog 1 - 1 total -
Lower tier - 9 total stoplogs -
Second tier - 8 total stoplogs -
Third tier - 6 total stoplogs -
Top tier - 3 total stoplogs -
One lifting frame -
Answer 2:
The number of stoplog quantities is correct. The base schedule requires work on 18 stoplogs: 1 -
Lower tier, 8 - Second tier, 6 - Third tier, 3 -
Top tier.
After testing the modified Stoplog 1, the
Government will decide whether the Government will exercise Schedule B or Schedule C.
If Government awards Schedule B, the contractor transports, modifies the remaining 9 Lower tier logs and returns them to the government. Upon completion of this option, the government will have 28 stoplogs: 27 modified and 1 original.
If the Government awards Schedule C, the contractor will build and deliver 10 brand new lower tier logs which will be a slightly different size. The contractor will scrap the 10
Lower tier stoplogs (Stoplog 1 and 9 Lower tier stoplogs). Upon completion of this option, the government will have 28 stoplogs: 10 new logs, 17 modified, and 1 original.
Question 3: Do you have a preliminary delivery schedule?
Answer 3: The specifications do not stipulate a delivery schedule other than the requirement to deliver Stoplog 1 first, as stated in Section 01
12 40 - Construction Sequencing.
Question 4: When would the modified Stoplog 1 be needed on site?
Answer 4: The specifications do not stipulate a
