About this file

This document is an Amendment (0001) to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Northwest Coast Artist Demonstrations at Sitka National Historical Park. The solicitation (140P9725Q0032) is a total small business set-aside seeking artists to provide demonstrations during the period of 05/19/2025 to 10/19/2025. Key details include a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling during peak visitor hours between 9 am and 4 pm. Artists are responsible for their own signage, educational materials, and display setup, and will engage in informal conversations with park visitors.

The amendment includes a comprehensive Q&A section addressing artists' working conditions, such as storage availability, artwork size limitations, parking, local transportation, and lodging recommendations. No travel reimbursement or housing assistance will be provided. Artist applications will be evaluated based on price, technical qualifications, and prior experience. Interested artists must submit quotes via email to Francisco_Velasco@nps.gov, with the solicitation specifying that subcontractors must also be small businesses. The period of performance is from May 19, 2025, to October 19, 2025, with payment generally occurring every two weeks.
