About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to Solicitation Number 140P8423Q0085 for a well rehabilitation project at Redwood National and State Parks. The project involves replacing an existing water well pump and controls. Key details include that the new storage tank must be located within 50 feet of the well and no local permits are required. For the bid option to replace two existing tanks with a single 10,000 gallon tank, the new tank would fit on the existing concrete pad once the old tanks are removed. Generators and treatment equipment would be housed in the existing treatment building. Alternative bids using two 5,000 gallon tanks would also be acceptable if they fit the existing pad footprint. The park will enlarge the existing 250 gallon propane tank if necessary separate from the contract.
