Alex Patterson stated:

• Nothing said today changes the terms, conditions, requirements, or specifications of the solicitation and eventual contract. All changes will be formalized and incorporated by formal written amendment(s) to the RFQ and posted at FBO.

• We will be taking notes of today’s discussion and will provide them by amendment, which should be posted by July 18. We will endeavor to find answers to today’s questions within the solicitation documents, but if we are unable to, the official answers will be provided in the amendment.

• You are encouraged to carefully review the instructions for submitting your quote, including what to include and how to submit it.

• If you have questions after you leave, e-mail them to Contracting Officer Sarah Welch (sarah_welch@nps.gov) as soon as possible, but no later than 1:00 pm on July 23, 2018, or five business days prior to the solicitation closing date.

• Solicitation due date is Monday July 31 at 1:00 pm unless extended by future amendment.

Questions posed during the site visit:

Q1: Where is the location of the existing control panel Pump Station #3?

A1: The existing control panel for Pump Station #3 is located inside the Historic Hangar, on top of the restrooms.

Q2: Where is the location of the new control panel for Pump Station #3?

A2: The new location of the control panel will be outside next to the southeast corner of Pearson Air Museum. See Attachment 3 Maps, Page 3.

Q3: What is the power for pump station #3?

A3: The current power is 230 volt, single phase.

Q4: Can the new duplex pump station be three phase?

A4: Per Section 15130: Pump Station #3 should be single phase 230 volt. However, NPS will consider changing to a three phase duplex pump station. Quoters may include this as an add-alternate in the price schedule; it is not required. NPS will evaluate the cost and technical merit of the alternate and make a decision at award.

Q5: Are the pumps being replaced?

A5: Yes. Per Section 01270: “This line item consists of providing all labor, material and equipment to demolish existing duplex pump and control system; and to furnish and install new duplex pump and control system, concrete top and access hatch, and associated appurtenances for the complete and functional duplex pump station.”
