Utility Task Vehicles (UTV’s) for Kalaupapa National Historical Park Molokai, Hawaii

The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking to purchase two UTV’s for use in the Facility Maintenance Division of Kalaupapa National Historical Park (KALA).

The Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition or Equivalent is recommended. Minimum salient characteristics are as follows:

· Engine- Gasoline

· Torque- Approx 48.0lb-ft @ 3500 rpm

· Final Drive- Selectable 2WD/4WD. Dual mode rear differential with differential lock

· Ground Clearance- Approx 10.0 in

· Minimum Fuel Capacity- 7.9 gallons

· Minimum Load Capacity- 1263.5 lb

· Minimum Towing Capacity- 2000 lb

· Front Tires 26X9.00-12 minimum, radial

· Rear Tires 26X11.00-12 minimum, radial

· Windshield

· Halogen/LED Headlights

· Rear Lighting

· Can sit a minimum of six people

UTV’s shall also include:

· Lift kit

· Skid plate for UTV underside protection

· Winch Kit

· Wheel Spacer

· 2 Ignition Keys

The UTV’s shall be delivered to:

Kalaupapa National Historical Park 7 Puahi Street Kalaupapa, HI 96742

The Contractor is responsible for transportation of the UTV’s to Young Brothers Pier 39/40 in Honolulu, HI to get on the annual barge service scheduled to depart Young Brothers Pier 39/40. The barge typically has one sailing date between Honolulu and Kalaupapa in July or August of each year. Exact date to be announced at contract award.

Invoicing will be made through the Internet Payment Platform (IPP) located at www.IPP.gov.
