SCOPE OF WORK

WINDOW REPLACEMENT

RESIDENCE # 8

Quote to include removal of all windows presently installed. Windows to be replaced with vinyl-framed double pane, Low-E, insulated windows plus screens, with highest industry ratings. Reference elevation for determining window type is ~6,700 feet.

Window frames must be brown or anodized bronze for the exterior.

All materials and workmanship for installation of windows/doors will be responsibility of the contractor, as will be the removal and disposal of all old material. No construction debris to be left at jobsite.

Buildings are "manufactured: home with standard sizes and no custom-fit windows (see approximate sizes under "Field Measurements")

Contractor will be responsible for any repairs necessitated by tear-out and installation, such as mudding or painting of drywall, window sills or jams. Appropriate paint will be supplied by NPS.

Please note that due to remote location, any room and board, as well as any travel expenses should be included in bid and based on the current General Services Administration (GSA) per diem rates.

It is HIGHLY recommended that Bidders make an on-site visit in order to ensure proper measurements and actual condition for this bid. Although a site visit is not required in order to bid on the project initially, it will be required of the contractor once the bid is awarded in order to ensure proper measurements.
