NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
The National Park Service (NPS) is a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) that has been entrusted with the care of our national parks since 1916. The NPS preserves unimpaired natural and cultural resources, and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. The NPS cooperates with partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world.
Theodore Roosevelt National Park (THRO) was established in 1947 as a national memorial park to honor President Roosevelt and to provide a place for us to experience his beloved Badlands in our own ways.
Grand Opening of theodore roosevelt presidential library Theodore Roosevelt National Park is partnering with the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library to celebrate the grand opening of the library alongside the 250th anniversary of our country’s founding.
An exclusive, invitation-only preview for the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library’s largest supporters on July 2-3.
