About this file

This document is a questions and answers (Q&A) attachment related to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to purchase storage containers for the Amistad National Recreation Area, managed by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Midwest Region.

The Q&A clarifies requirements for the storage containers, including the removal of a previous requirement for 4 large "free flow vents" due to HVAC system impacts, confirmation of 4-foot entrance doors, and the addition of one 120V and one 220V electrical outlet on the non-swinging door side of each container. The agency also confirmed that no other electrical components, such as lighting or a breaker box, are required to be installed. The RFQ is seeking to purchase 2 shipping containers to meet the agency's storage needs.
