SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY)

Pea Ridge National Military Park: Replace Visitor Center Roof

(Reference 140P6223B0004)

The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Pea Ridge National Military Park, Garfield, Arkansas, is conducting market research to find interested sources capable of successfully performing the following work:

Provide all labor, qualified supervision, products, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, incidentals, and other services and expertise necessary to:

1.

Replace the existing Composite “Cedur” shake shingle roof and associated components with a standing seam metal roof on the Visitor Center at Pea Ridge National Military Park.

2.

Work will consist of approximately 11,500 square feet of failing “ Cedur” composite shingles, remove all existing/remaining roofing nails or shingle securing products, removal of existing/remaining underlayment and the installation of approximately 11,500 square feet of 22 ga. Tension leveled standing seam metal roofing panels and any associated roofing components to provide a weather tight roof warranty.

Replace approximately 1,150 square feet of roof deck boards, 200 lineal feet of metal flashing, 445 lineal feet of gutter, 200 lineal feet of downspout, 700 lineal feet of soffit and fascia, and 10 downspout splash blocks (all measurements approximate).

The NAICS code for this project is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.0M. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The period of performance of the project will be 90 calendar days from receipt of a Notice to Proceed.

All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer may make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.

This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on www.Sam.gov

Interested contractors having capabilities and experience necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to provide company information in the format of a narrative that demonstrates company experience/capabilities to Jason Burdett, Contracting Officer: jason_burdett@nps.gov.

Responses shall also include the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, socio-economic status, provide UEI number, and proof of SAM Registration. All relevant input is encouraged. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided.
